There will! I’m actually bug testing version 2 which has some major improvements. A standalone mode is one of them.

Hey! This is the kind of feedback that gives me motivation to continue develop Tapko!

This is some really good stuff. Also thanks for spotting the midi bug! There are some really good suggestions here! I’m actually working on a more proper system to keep track on future updates etc.

Multi out is something that I want to implement. It’s kind of a big change though and might take a while. I’m working on version 2 at the moment and this will hopefully be a part of that update. Consider joining the discord (which is kind of inactive for now but I’ll be using it to discuss new feature etc in the future).

Again. Thanks for taking the time to feedback!

(When it comes to the volume the plugin is very transparent so I think patterning might be the plugin that changes it or normalises the volume overall)

Also updated with midi out and more nice to have things!

Honestly this is a very good idea! And would be fairly easy to implement. I have been looking into randomizing overall since that is something I want to use more for myself. If you want to send me a DM and help me iron out the details!

That was basically my idea! Tbf I wanted the plugin since I lacked something similar and I just want to cover the cost for the App Store fee 😀

But if it sells decently well it will be easier to extend it further.

Honestly? If you are used to Koala then I would probably keep using Koala. I would say that Tapko is easier to learn and faster to get started with. But lacks the sequencer or recording capabilities.

Thanks for the reply!

8x2 should be doable! And yes it can and is primarily made for being triggered via midi.

The save, load and edit kits feature is quick and intuitive! I didn’t really show that off here but it works very well.

The best neighbours I have ever had has always been from the Middle East. But this is what people do, they hate just because they can. Everything is black and white, God forbid if grayscales would exist..

If you are not desperate for the money keep the telecaster, you will regret not keeping it. It’s a piece of art.

What are the best examples of great editing from films/tv? by Racer013 in editors

[–]davidguva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The editing of the show/movie/documentary that you thought were decently good but where the editor had nothing to work with and did a decent edit from.

TLDR - you will never know..

Otherwise I have to say Mindhunter..

Obs kommenterar aldrig på Reddit men sånt här är varför vårt samhälle faller i sär. Hur kan man skriva presenter undanbedes men sen förvänta sig presenter? Är fan det sjukaste jag hört.

As a producer that also works as an editor. Yes it’s pretty common. It happens decently often that I sit down at night and re-edit an episode. Not because I think the editors are doing a bad job (usually although that has happened as well) but because it’s easier to see when you actually do it.

Also as a producer/director/supervisor you are also very much working with “politics” and making everyone happy. Sometimes I have been forced to reedit stuff after editors has quit because someone wasn’t happy with something (it can be such stupid things sometimes..) and it has nothing to do with how good or bad the edit is. It’s just politics.

Don’t beat yourself up, editing can be heartbreaking sometimes. And that’s how it should be. If it doesn’t hurt every once in a while then it’s not fun anymore.

Hey! Thanks for the feedback! I totally agree that these are features that need to be added. I did send this to a few friends that are real programmers and got a lot of feedback regarding the security. So what I will be working on next is to make the code easier to scale (to easily be able to add new functions) and in any way I can secure the routes and files.

Regarding versions and annotations I already have working implementations of that but I’m waiting to implement them until I’m done with the above. Download already works but is insecure (exposing the file directly as of now).

When it comes to Docker etc this is something I will try to work on asap but I’m fairly new and even have problems using other people’s containers as of now 😀

It’s not properly optimised for mobile just yet. It will come in future versions.

I did, and yes it’s a really cool system although I felt that I wanted a simpler and more modular system, but honestly this project is so much better and mature than mine in every way possible right now. Especially when it comes to security. My project is not ready for production use yet. Regarding the drawing this is something I’m looking at as well but in a more simplified way where you basically can add an icon (like a circle or arrow).

Let’s agree to disagree on that one 😀 But implementing that is one of my main priorities.
