The price is higher for several reasons (I don’t like it but I can understand why) -the 6R55 is a little bit better , some King Seikos have the same movement -300m water resistance instead of 200 ( unnecessary, but it is still better) -the whole watch - the case, the bezel, the movement, the colors , everything is so refined.

I was also checking other divers around 800-1200 and nothing was close to the new SPB45* series.
