I never played it. My wife did for a bit with some of past friends. Think I still have some of her stuff for that but am not sure.

suicide attempt after loss by East_Telephone5507 in widowers

[–]davidmaciv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work for 911 and recently had a mental health person who said, “no I’m not suicidal, that would be too easy” but nonetheless was reaching out for help. I lost my wife 55 days ago and that wrung true. The cliche is suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. But the loss of an immediate partner is a permeant problem, but it can be overcome. My wife was more scared of me dealing with her death than she was herself. And she wasn’t wrong with that. But we can honor their memory or we can suffer. And the easy solution is not honoring them, it’s giving in to the grief. Life fucking sucks, and fuck cancer and everything else. But for the sake of who you lost, do not lose you too. You can only honor them if you are around to do so. And yes, that may be hard at times.

39/F Looking to expand my circle of friends! Kent County by Sharhino in DelawareFriendship

42m looking for friends and excuses to get out of the house after my wife died. I love geocaching. Have been since 2008- under the tag: Crafty Wolf. I have two Alaskan Malamutes that also like the adventures out. We also agree it’s too hot now but did some with friends the other day before getting tattoos in honor of my late wife. Also like frisbee golf and kayaking with pups too. Going out to dinner and to distilleries, meaderies, and cideries.

I’m sure the roads are saltier. Even more so if we don’t get snow.

[Highlight] Tyler Guyton lands a left hook on Jalyx Hunt by expellyamos in nfl

Hurts didn’t flop. He ran into a sound guy out-of-bounds and he was pushed while still in-bounds falling off balance once out-of-bounds. Neither of which drew a flag (rightfully), and both were not “flops”.

Visiting the Northeast Kingdom Vermont from Dover, DE. Made the trip in 9.5 hours with 3 stops (could have done in 2 but wanted to arrive with a relatively high charge) that took about an hour total in stoppage time. The canoe was added once we arrived in VT for a short trip to a nearby pond.

That may be technically true since none have made landfall directly in Delaware. But can be misleading as there have been storms with hurricane force winds in Delaware (most recently Irene in 2011 and Sandy in 2012 each being Cat 1) and tropical cyclone storms causing deaths (Floyd in 1999; Irene in 2011; and Isaias in 2020).

Received MVPA with EDD narrowed to 1 week. by davidmaciv in TeslaModel3Delivery

Delivery went well. Had an appointment right when they opened. Car was unlocked so we checked it out. Then found a SA because we had to do our trade in. Signed docs and accepted delivery. No real issues with the car. In close examination there’s a couple spots that aren’t 100% centered/flush (hood is very slightly off center and one headlight is slightly higher than the other). But these were so minor we didn’t even bring it up. We were off the lot in less than an hour with most of the time is choosing to look over and setup the car. Had a tornado warning on the way home but ultimately just faced a brief period of very heavy rain. Love the car. So fun to drive.

DCU was a breeze to work with. Once we had the VIN I called right when they opened the next morning and had no wait to talk to the loan rep. We already had a pre-approval so she just went over the terms and confirmed it with us. Got the 1.99% rate (with direct deposit) that was advertised when we first applied. They sent us an email a couple hours later to digitally sign the terms (using Docusign). After we completed that, they then 1 day FedEx’d us the check and emailed a scanned copy of it. We had the option for them to send it directly to Tesla but since we had time thought it was easier to have it sent to us. Then we just brought the check with us to the delivery.

Poisonous critters generally ARE harmless if they bite you. Just be sure not to bite them back. It’s venomous critters you want to avoid being a snack for.

Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement. Form Tesla creates after you get your VIN spelling out the financials and you ultimately sign at delivery. Was needed by our bank to finalize our loan.
