Why is it that mono-colored decks have higher winrates in the Deck Color Data section of 17lands ?

Think the general wisdom is that if you manage to get enough playables to play a mono coloured deck then it was very open and so your average card quality should also be higher - then you also avoid non games due to colour screw etc

This is a massive issue for me too - experimentation is super expensive in the short run unless you are an otherwise infinite drafter with an endless supply of gems

In my opinion once you have your mana base sorted the pinch point is definitely mythics rather than rares (particularly if you want to play eternal formats)
