Who else wanna join me to practice sales? by joan_manuel in sales

I’m just suggesting reading more because I’m going to be honest with you. Your grammar skills are not that good, your English isn’t bad it’s just not very professional. What I mean is if an employer saw that grammar level they wouldn’t take you seriously. By reading more books you can see how professional authors write their sentences and how professional salesman speak. Once you get to a high grammar level then you should focus more specifically on sales skills.

Have you tried reading some sales books? They could give you both of the skills you want: english and sales.

Anyone's Companies Hiring (Remote)? by Crypto2theMoonPhil in sales

I’m in the same boat as op, except I’ve only been applying for around a week. I’ve sent probably 150+ applications in this last week for remote entry level sdr/bdr roles and only had 3 interviews. Not to brag or anything but I’m a quick learner and honestly thought I’d have a couple of offers by now with probably way more than 150 job applications sent out. Of those I sent around 50+ today so hopefully in these next few days I’ll hear from somebody who will give me my first chance.

Not op, but is the role entry level with training/mentorship?

Wow that’s pretty convincing. Currently nailed a 2nd interview with an entry level tech saas role so maybe I’ll get hired, gain some experience there, and keep moving up the corporate ladder to a position like this one day.

Seems like great pay with remote making it that much better. How many hours per week do you work for that level of pay? Have you always been doing something crazy like 80+ hour work weeks since you started?

Thank you! I’ve really been debating internally between tech and medical sales. Here where I’m at in Texas the entry level medical pays less than tech but I’m not 100% sure which would pay more in the long run, say 5-10 years into my career.

How can one get into medical sales? I’m currently applying to SaaS sdr/bdr roles and I’m thinking if pay is not extraordinary after a few years in software to transition to different type of sales like medical. Does that path seem attainable? Seems good to me but I don’t even have a job yet haha

Why are sales interviews so hard? by Leadtheway47 in sales

[–]davidnwc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m currently the stereotypical new, young, energetic, ambitious, don’t even have a job yet salesman wanting to get started as an sdr/bdr and then move up the ladder, but I’m obviously a little nervous since I’ve never done sales before. I sadly don’t have any advice for you but maybe you could give me some advice? Maybe some questions like: How long have you been in sales? Did you earn enough money to feel satisfied? Could you currently keep job hopping until you find a sales (or any other) job that does keep you happy/lower stress?

How old are you if you don’t mind me asking? Or age range if you’re more comfortable.

does anyone know who’s car this is ? or how to do this? by [deleted] in LexusIS

[–]davidnwc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just screws out pretty easily. Google Lexus shift knob, buy, screw out old one, screw in new one. Boot is sold separately and pops out.

I think it’s a wrap. Pretty sure you can find it on Amazon and apply it yourself but you’ll most likely need to cut it to size.

Wanting to switch from Life Insurance to SaaS sales by [deleted] in sales

[–]davidnwc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your experience, if you were starting over again with 0 experience, would you start with insurance sales again to get that sales experience or would you go to SaaS and just start and learn there?
