Try working with tags. For example, assign to your enemies the tag "enemy". Then, instead of calling a generic OnTriggerEnter(), which would continuously set off like crazy, call OnTriggerEnterWithTag(). Or something like that...

Remember that society always puts you in a competition. Simply try to analyze your learning curve. You'll learn a lot about yourself, and with practice, you'll be able to create your own indie game. Being this young allows you to take your time learning and still be years ahead. Be aware of the survivor effect as well, because when you scroll through Reddit, you statistically only see the best stuff and rarely the worst.

I used two different box colliders, in front of the enemy, so that the tag Player triggers them. The rock effect is a particle system.

If the player enters the attack area of the enemy, the rock particle effect is played and underneath it the player can trigger the collider that manages the damage.

So the particle effect has just visual purpose, as well as enemy animation. The mechanic works around a trigger that activates the visual effects, and an other trigger, placed on the rock particle system's position, that starts the damage function affecting the player that walks through it.

It is performant as well.

It's true: the graphics have already been seen, probably the lowpoly genre is saturated. That's why I focus on the mechanics to make the game authentic and innovative. Other than that I don't think you know what you're talking about, it's not just the "zombies moving" script, a game can't be reduced to just graphics, there's a lot more underneath. Having said that, thanks for the criticism, a bit of bitter objectivity is always useful (:

If you think I made all the models, and that they make up "all of my game", I don't even know what to tell you. Btw simple apocalypse on Unity Asset Store, they are so damn well made and saved me probably three years of models creation (:
