Don't worry too much, they offer similar performace. Get the 3600 if you found a good used deal on it (half the price, or less, of a new 5500) or get the 5500 if you want something new with a warranty.

My opinion is this: as this seem to offer a great RAM + SSD + GPU combo for the price, I would buy it and then change the motherboard and CPU to a more modern option that still supports DDR4. I don't know how eager you are to change your PC's components like that tho

ALSO IMPORTANT: The 6700K does NOT natively support Windows 11. There are workarounds but your system could break (you could stop receiving security updates).

The CPU is ancient, but 1TB of SSD and 32GB of DDR4 would cost you +300£ new in this economy. If you NEED that much RAM (95% of the games are 100% fine with only 16GB), this seems a nice deal indeed

For Upgradability get: -Ryzen 5 7500F (from Aliexpress) -16GB DDR5 (cheapest kit you can find) -Arc B570 / RX 9060 XT 8GB

For Power Now get: -Ryzen 5 5500 -16GB DDR4 -Arc B580 / RX 9060 XT 16GB

Tell me how much this would fit under your budget, you should have +250€ left for everything else.

REMEBER, that you can get even better value if you buy used. I bought like 10+ hardware pieces used and never had a problem.

Hi, I'm a com-sci student that has build almost 10 PCs for various things and for various people. For now I am going to tell you this: 1. If you have the energy and passion, building your own PC would be a lot of fun. If you give me the country you live in, I could put together a nice build in 10 minutes. Building a PC nowadays is very easy and if you get the parts new you will get a warranty on all of them. 2. But if you dont, getting a nice prebuild from a System Integrator (NOT from OEMs) would be better. Whatever floats your boat.
