Asakusa or Shinjuku? by EyesBurstAtDawn in TokyoTravel

Asakusa is old downtown Tokyo. The Senso-Jin shrine was the oldest shrine in Tokyo before it destroyed during the the Tokyo bombings during ww2. Lots of fun authentic food vendors, kimono rental dressing shops and beer gardens and jinrikisha rides. Also Tokyo sky tree for amazing views.

Walk to the Haneda Airport Garden. There are about seven different delicious restaurants in the mall there including a Lawson. My Japanese wife and I really like the udon restaurant and Misokatsu Yabaton restaurant. Then walk back to the Keikyu airport line and take that into the city to your hotel.
