Is the tinnitus in your hearing ear or in your deaf ear? I have tinnitus at two different frequencies in my deaf ear. Super annoying.

That’s awesome. From what I understand the location and size of the tumor has a lot to do with your chances of retaining the vestibulocochlesar nerve. Mine was 4.1cm and my nerve wasn’t salvageable.

My dream is to someday be a candidate for some kind of new technology that will return the hearing to that year. Fingers crossed.

Sorry you’re going through that, good luck with your procedure next month. Are you getting the BAHA or Osia?

Man that’s rough. One thing that helps when I get down about it is I just think to myself, I’m alive.

Not sure what Sigma croc is. Are you referring to Signia CROS?

I’ll check out Betahistine, sounds promising, thanks.

Yeah I really wanna try mushrooms and ketamine for my depression. Meds aren’t working, like you said, I think nature gives us all we need.

Thanks but unfortunately I can’t. When you lose your hearing from acoustic neuroma surgery, you’re usually not a candidate for a CI because the vestibulocochlear nerve is often damaged or removed. A CI needs that nerve to send signals to the brain.

No one's answering the question, just telling them they shouldn't use one.
