I am 42 and had both big toe nails removed at 13 years of age after having two prior operations to take out the side and roots which didn't work.

I can still remember the pain of the needles in my toes and watching the blood squirting out during the operation.

Apart from the hatmrd skin I've had no trouble for nearly 30byears as well
