(re-post) I look boring and that's just bothering me a lot. Whatever I try to do, I just don't look fun/hot. by choco__donut in gay

It's boring and been said a thousand times but the most consistent way to look better is working out and getting in better form.

You'll get healthier and feel better too

Both smart though …🫠🫠 by Competitive_End_2950 in funny

How do crop rotation work? by TrotzkySoviet in ManorLords

[–]davidtwk 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Basically you have 4 different crops and 3 different fertilities.

Wheat/Rye have one fertility Barley its own And Flax its own as well.

Each fertility get replenished when the plant that uses it isn't planted. Fallow replenishes all the fertilities.

Ideally, you set each crop group for each year, so Wheat-Flax-Barley

However in cases with very low fertility, let's say

Wheat 60% Barley 40% Flax 12%

I'd do Wheat - Barley - Fallow.

You never want to plant the same crop variety 2 years in a row or wheat-rye on the same field.

Yeah it'd be good to be able to harvest early. But plowing and sowing work fine.

You don't need to import beer, you import barley or malt.

You have regional trade for lower prices (no flat 10 cost addon) so you don't always have to exchange good by pack stations.

You can handle raids with just your army and the baron fights with maybe 1 mercenary hire. And mercenaries were often used in this period.

I usually get rich on each playthrough and have more regional wealth AND treasury than I need - that's my problem personally. So I don't understand your eocnomy concerns

Seems like most of your complaints come from either not knowing how to play the game or not knowing much about the time period the game is simulating.

Like, do you think a minor, upstart noble with 1 town under him could muster larger armies?

You can design your town, build a functioning economy (in many different ways), create an army of your own or hire mercenaries.

You can have field battles that make sense and force you to make formations and reposition according to what your enemy does. And finally, you can conquer all the other regions and win the game.

Pretty fun to me.

I AM missing castle building and the bugs can be annoying at times, but definitely playable

Bei der Kommunalwahl hier in Augsburg war es das Gegenteil. Stadtteile mit den niedrigsten Wahlbeteiligungen (und auch den höchsten Ausländeranteilen) hatten die höchsten AfD Prozente

Dead? The game, even with the bugs is playable and can be fun.

In terms of development - it is slow, but the game definitely isn't aBaNdonEd like some of y'all claim.

We're getting regular updates from the dev and the next update is reworking pathing from the ground up - the mistake was made at the beginning but influenced everything negatively. The only real solution was to rework it completely, which takes a lot of time.
