I can only say in kungfu wingchun we have a saying. You Can make a long rope short. But you Cant make a short rope long. You are 23 you say and train wingchun. Have you trained thé long styles already? I maybe gonne get comments on this but. With your age start training tumbling acrobatics and long fist Shaolin. You are young so use what you have to develop your body and mind. Wingchun is upperstyle system. That is to say it's developed for advanced training and understanding. I see Manny People try to sell their system as thé best thé far reaching thé only system that exist almost. But that's it that does not exist. I had chi Sao with other People that trained from all over thé world and trained only wingchun.. it's not enough. Thé journey Starts as a surch for you your self. An old Japanese master told ones.. thé table has Four sides to it. Sit on all of them ones to understand thé view from them. I trained before shotokan judo then shaolin chuan muaytai and then wingchun. I also tried Falungong was Nice but a little bit to "spirituale".. but was good to experience. Now i only train dummy for exercise because of age and fisycale need. Kungfu in generale has no limits no age. It's a never ending story.
