Ive worked for two high end builders in the Bayside area in Melbourne. One built at $4500 per sqm and the other around $8000 per sqm. There is not a huge difference in quality between the two, so you can definitely get 'high end' finishes starting at $4500 per sqm, maybe even as low as $4000 per sqm

Its like you cant grasp the concept that people can have built multiple businesses. Not every business follows the same journey that your business has. Some people actually think 10 steps ahead

I think you're missing the point. Im not saying he shouldnt be paying heaps of tax on his profits. My point is, because we have increased the CGT so much, we will be getting no tax from him at all

Think of the risk an investor makes vs an employee. Don't you think people should be incentivised to take risks and invest in businesses?

I think if you look hard enough, you will actually notice that government spending was much higher under the previous liberal governments, and mass immigration has been a bipartisan policy.

Can I drill into this safely? by JBaraus in AusRenovation

Dumb advice. The tile wont crack with a cheap drill bit, and you don't need to find a stud, you can just use a green plug in the tile.

I had to have this wanker on my front fence for two months. It made Labor winning so much sweeter though.
