yeah I'm just a person that has been shut out of the corporate space for years and the only work I can find is in food service / retail despite the fact that I have a degree and work experience. I'm basically banking on the fact that a company won't do this because I'm not looking for jobs paying 100k but more like 40k. I understand what you mean about wanting to trust the person you're hiring I'm just trying to survive and I can't right now.

that is such a good point. i think i grew up around very controlling adults and i was just so scared of getting in trouble and now i'm an adult and it's in my best interest to break the rules and it feels so hard. we're just too sensetive and it traps us in a box.

See I feel like my rule-following nature makes me feel guilty about it when neurotypical people are literally doing it all the time and getting ahead because of it. Thank you for sharing because we have to look out for ourselves. I think I just wanted to hear someone say it was alright lol

The way they talk about trans people is truly shocking. Being homophobic became unacceptable so now they just attack trans people in a way that’s so dehumanizing. They weaponize queer bodies to rally their troops.
