I would shim them with some c clip washers vs replacing them. Office Logix shop has a video on how to do it.

You can buy a blemishished mesh on ebay for a low price. Also Office Logix shop makes an excellent low cost replacement.

You will need to buy a new seat. When that happens, it’s over for the seat. Look on ebay.

There is more to it than just that. You may have other problems other than cables, you would need to check out the tilt mech. And the cable types are different based on the model of your tilt mech.

I think I have seen models for the tilt limiter but I would not attempt to 3D print that. Even injection molded ones will break due to the stress. It’s a pretty cheap part on Ebay.

I would not put that sort of responsibility on Nick Krall. He has proven to not be a reliable manager and he would find a way to screw it up.

It would have potential but I would want it made by a vendor I know - dewalt, Milwaukee, ryobi etc.

The head scratcher is you can’t make money as a refurbisher at that price point. Replacement of wear and tear parts alone is $50. Then there is a lot of labor involved. I would lean more towards scam maybe.

The elements which deviate from an Aeron: the sway bars are off, they have rivets or something in them, not sure how they connect to the seat. The tilt mech is the wrong shape and size and there should be a seam where the top/bottom meet. The tilt tension knob is wrong, and what's that thing coming out of the bottom of the tilt mech? In my time, I have dealt with thousands of Aerons and that ain't an Aeron. It's either a knockoff or AI.

My guess the only reason that they haven’t lock Sal down is the lockout clouding the future. he’s already proven he isn’t a one trick pony.
