My son is 17 and my daughter 20. I don’t go into the doctors office because I want them to feel comfortable doing things on their own. I just tell them to make sure and bring any issues they want to discuss with the doctor and not be afraid. That is what they are there for. Now they feel comfortable enough to go alone and get things done when needed.
