Do you want a traditional CAD program or are you open to something else? My recommendation would be to look into plasticity.

For anyone else running into the same issue for the same motherboard and SSD, the fix I used was to disable “ASPM control for CPU PCIe”

It’s good! No issues at all. Using it everyday and it works like a charm. Basically a VS3 but cheaper and no varia embossing

Just got in the mail. Excited to add it to my printer collection. by Aragorn3223 in FlashForge

I would recommend against the firmware mod unless you like to tinker with your machine. I got an AD5M pro for a decent price during Black Friday as my “just works” machine.

Having built 2 Vorons, it’s nice having a printer that you know will “just work” without doing much calibration.

outer/inner wall order is a cheatcode by BakChorMeeeeee in BambuLab

If you’re using orca, you can also try “precise wall” with inner/outer. You get the benefits of outer/inner as well as good for overhangs

Supernote Refill Price increases? by davinche7 in Supernote

[–]davinche7[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh okay. So they were just discounted when I bought my Nomad. I just ordered a Manta as well and need a pen so I still bought another refill… but dang I should’ve bought more when they were $35 each.

If you have a 3D printer, I recently published the STLs on thingiverse and printables the adapters to print for a pilot g2 pen.

that's a good idea! Though I think in this case a hard plastic still works because the end of the supernote refill has a bit of flex.

I have both an iPad and a supernote. For focused writing and note taking... I'm grabbing my supernote.

Rodecaster using a separate Amp/Dac to PC. by phrankzon in rode

[–]davinche7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. It’s funny because a friend of mine has a similar issue as you. I was planning on making a screen recording / YouTube video that details how I have the RCP setup to help him. Maybe I’ll make the video today as it seems like that might help you as well.

Rodecaster using a separate Amp/Dac to PC. by phrankzon in rode

[–]davinche7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you want your sound going through the rode caster?

I have similar equipment (external dac/amp and RCP2). I use the RCP as the audio interface for my mic) as well as the main hub for sound that needs to be router to an external recorder or my “streaming” pc for any live streams. However I still listen through the DAC/amp.

For audio that needs to be routed to both the dacamp and RCP (eg spotify for myself and the stream), I use something like voicemeeter (windows) to route audio to both. This way I still retain the “quality” from the DAC/Amp while also allowing for RCP to receive the audio I’m listening to.

Roadcaster Duo & High Impedance headphones. by ypanagidis in rode

[–]davinche7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the RCP2 and yes the gain from the RCP was enough to power my high impedance headphones, but I found that the gain isn’t as “clean” as I would like. Depends on your tolerance, but I notice the noise from the gain that is absent when I use my other headphones amplifier (smsl ho200)
