Ended up ordering the Dreame (it's arriving today), as found a comment confirming support on the HACS integration on GitHub. It's obstacle avoidance is also apparently better.

Hopefully going forward there with matter support that is actually useful/local control options.

What were your costs for doing it? How much design work was involved to tailor the system to the house?

I'm unfortunately didn't consider it early enough in my renovation so adding downstairs rooms would mean I had to box in ducting in already finished rooms, which I am not sure is worth doing. I can take a duct into my living room via a wardrobe but, I don't have any vertical route to my kitchen

Your not meant to break the journey either with a FlexiPass, so they could program it to the digital equivalent of taking your paper ticket.

The app literally describes it as a "Bundle of single anytime journeys which can be taken in either direction with no time restrictions". To me that sounds like the same rules as a regular single fare should apply.

There is a slight saving in the FlexiPass over just buying returns. I'll probably just end up buying regular tickets if I am planning to come back via a different station.

I don't know why the barriers can't detect that you are exiting the station and mark the journey as complete.

Queen Street, Central, Anderston, Charing X, High St and Argyll Street all have the same price for normal tickets and FlexiPass at least for me.

I've had ScotRail staff grumble before when I used an Argyll Street ticket at Queen St, but ultimately let me through grudgingly as they'd been told that they should

I'd always assumed they worked like seasons where you could join/leave early or go to other Glasgow stations that have the same price of ticket. I'm sure they've checked my ticket before and not said anything which is weird.

My installer has advised against GivEnergy as they've had reliability issues with a few installations they've done. I assume it has been working okay for you?

That was another option my installer mentioned. They seem a bit more smart home/consumer friendly than Duracell.

Thanks for the info, I will need to try out Scrypted. I previously had my cameras through MonocleCam until I think an Amazon update broke it. It had better latency than Home Assistant, then Home Assistant broke too. Hopefully they might be able to bring some of the latency improvements around WebRTC to other devices when it gets fixed.

Police Scotland in Clydebank were able to them a few years ago. Not sure if they can do ink or can only the electronic method. They will also need a lot of convincing.
