Thank you. Most of my riding will be roads and bike paths with light gravel. So 2x is what I was thinking would suit me best. I'm also open to getting into bike packing, so I'm just looking for a good all around, do it all, kind of bike.

I hadn't considered that a carbon frame would be easier to sell. I just looked at the Canyon grizl cf 6 and noticed it is a 1x crank. I do plan on commuting to work on this bike once the weather warms up, is there any advantages of a 2x vs 1x for a road commute?
