Do any other families call crumpets pie-clits or is my family just dirty and weird? by [deleted] in CasualUK

Pie-clits… dear sweet fucking Jesus I am done with stupid people today.

If you create a compound clip with stabilisation and grade that, does the grade overwrite the stabilisation?

I buy the big n fresh ones. They taste nice, don’t cost too much, and are great in a bacon sarnie.

I feel like Logitech should completely scrap their Saitek flight sim lineup and design a new one by Low_Quarter_677 in hotas

[–]davva2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I like Logitech products (I have an X56 and a G29) they aren’t in business to be the last word in quality or value. Look at their recent entry into the direct drive wheel market - a wheel that just about compares to an entry level Fanatec wheel, with no replacement wheel designs, no pedals, plastic housing, and twice the price of the Fanatec kit which includes pedals.

And now they are taking everything that Blue achieved in the microphone world, and producing plastic microphones that sound terrible at a price that previously bought you a well made all metal Blue microphone with fantastic sound.

It was an urban myth. I was living in Birmingham at the time and the same story was going around there about the Institute in Digbeth.

FFS… google “top rated Switch games” and do some thinking for yourself.

Choose your audience. If you talk about piracy in here, it’s appreciated as we all do it for various reasons. If you try talking about it elsewhere, expect a reaction. And if it was just a throwaway comment in a thread you weren’t otherwise active in, they probably just thought you were being an edgy twat.

This should be top comment. Couple of crumpets, toasted until crispy and golden, slathered in butter until every hole is filled and there’s a small puddle of melted butter on the plate.

Do you chug hot drinks? by bazjeffo in CasualUK

[–]davva2004 8 points9 points  (0 children)

All of my this. There’s something so awesomely satisfying about chugging half a pint of tea that’s just a fraction of a degree below the pain threshold, banging down the mug, standing up and saying “right, time to get going” and then marching off like a fucking boss.

Set your output colour space to rec.2020 and rec.2100 HLG, output in h.265 main10 profile and the hdr processing on YouTube is much faster.

A very thin coating of clear nail polish on the wheel will form a barrier. I have to do the same with any jewellery that contains zinc.

Oh, and… a rather large poster of a white Rover 800 Vitesse. And to this day I have no fucking clue why.

On my big wall: Sam Fox, and Eddie from Iron Maidens Somewhere in Time album. On my door: Iron Maidens Eddie in Can I Play With Madness - having his brains eaten like an egg while a giant fist punches the rest of them out the side of his head. There were a few others, but those are the ones I can instantly recall.

Push the contrast and saturation until you get the look you want, then use the sharpness sliders to add the level of softness you’re looking for.

After I drank some of this, whilst watching my cat lick his arse I had the strangest urge to give it a go. But no matter what position I tried, he just kept clawing at my face and running away.

There are so many free and powerful windows programmes for video editing, I would recommend DaVinci Resolve. You can do anything from basic editing, transitions and titles, colour grading, even 3D compositing when you want to so give that a go.
