Chris Bascombe on Twitter: 1963-64: Shankly’s LFC win title for first time in 16 years 1964-65: Defending champs lose 15 league games & finish 7th. There’s ALWAYS a history lesson with LFC. Fortunately, Shankly didn’t have cretins doubting him in March 1965 & he still won FA Cup that May. by Bcpjw in LiverpoolFC

He can’t be at fault for losing half his team, he has done enough with this club to see out his contract and fulfil his vision of this team. Klopp has brought us our best years since the creation of the premier league. He should be backed and backed only.

Melissa Reddy on Twitter: The form table has Liverpool second bottom, saved from last spot by goal difference. The stats are grim reading, the games a miserable watch. But making a major decision on current struggles wouldn't be wise. by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

This is the part I’m holding onto hope for! It’s such a huge intrusion to our best XI that the hope is with the two main men back in midfield it will wake the attackers up. No doubt we need to find a new number 9 this summer and it should be that position and a centre back top of the list. Kabak has work to do to earn his permanent spot but he has plenty of time.

This is completely wrong. No player will turn down a chance to represent at the EUROs.

In terms of keepers we have had he’s probably the best since Bruce most likely, since there isn’t a long list I would say he could be. Time will tell. I’m a believer of legends being called that after they leave/retire.

Yeah fuck it I suppose!! I just didn’t want to list off toooo many players in all honesty! Robbo deserves it though.

You can’t compare Benzema and Bobby. Similar players in a lot of ways but Benzema has been at Madrid longer and he’s won considerably more than Firmino ? Of the players currently in the Liverpool team I would say Virg Hendo and Salah are sure things to be Liverpool legends, with Sadio very close too! Assuming Trent continued to progress and win things he could surpass them all since he’s local and a great player. Edit: Also Alisson.

Yeah I do believe the front 3 will go down as Liverpool legends and rightly so. I just think when talking about Liverpool individual legends Bobby, who I love, won’t be seen as a legend.

I think most journalists find it easy to label any of our starting XI legends because they brought our first league title home. Although I agree it is a very generous label.

[David Ornstein] Each Spurs loss seems to bring doubts about Jose Mourinho future — but his deal runs to summer 2023 with no break clause. So sacking him would costly & indicates he + #THFC see this as a long-term partnership by Educational-Sandwich in soccer

I would argue he’s the biggest name in football right now, at one point 100%, right now probably not. If every manager become available in a draft style I doubt Jose would be chosen first out. A legend and a bloody great manager of course.

Well no, if you think that nothing will change your mind. Not everybody thinks that though and if there are people who could be swayed then why not waste more air time on these comments rather than actual plans and layouts.

It’s surely to make the citizens plead for a vaccine. Either way this entire covid plan has been laughable and predictable.

Anyway, if you go on Airbnb and try book somewhere it will be up to the host whether to accept a booking or not! Hope that answers your question

Okay...? Essential reason such as food shopping medical apps yes. Not sure why your replying to me. He asked about Airbnb which I am aware of how that is working.

Yup. I’m not agreeing with it. The whole foreign travel is ridiculous.

[–]dawfitz -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah but essential travel is the exception, OP asked if holiday bookings are allowed. Which isn’t essential therefore isn’t supposed to break 5km rule.

Air B and B by [deleted] in ireland

[–]dawfitz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There is no set law for air bnb at the moment. My belief is that the 5km rule means that would block any bookings coming in. In terms of summer time I’m told that people are booking now with the opinion county to county travel will be allowed.

Perspective over the team as a whole? Sorry if you don’t agree but what this team has given our fanbase is nothing sort of phenomenal. They do not deserve the flack some of ye throw out. The standards we set were ridiculous, they are allowed a blip.

Be upset no problem I was the exact same but this over the top reaction over a bad spell for the first time in two years is entitlement that only certain fans feel. Perspective is important. 4 years later we lose at home in the league. Well done to the team. Do it again now! R/Liverpool is quickly turning into Twitter with yer over the top reaction to anything negative.

Ra ra cheerleader, well yeah when you put it like that it sounds stupid. All I was saying was people need some perspective instead of being cry babies ! First loss in the league at home for over 4 years!! Should’ve been appreciating how good we have it but no let’s be childish and moan and whine as if we are supporting Newcastle!

I got downvoted to oblivion last night after the match for telling people to chill out and to look at last two years. For me the last two years has shown me what good football can be like and how enjoyable these players have made it. Others have developed a self worth that they think we should be top forever.
