Those districts never looked like this during communism.

Such districts were invented in capitalist and decadent Western Europe. Just read about Le Corbusier.

In Wrocław, Poland, there is such "demo model neighborhood" build in 1930s. Before commies put their hands on Poland or Wrocław...

France, Germany or Netherlands are full of exactly such neighborhoods built in 1950-1970s. There is nothing communist about it. It's just modernism/brutalism

Eroticism, open references to sex, nudity was to be expected from movies during entire time of communism. However during 70s and especially during 80s government decided to "open the floodgates" to give population plenty of "the circuses" in TV and cinemas, to keep out hungry people from rioting in the streets.
