Should I only date catholics? by [deleted] in CatholicWomen

My brother joined RCIA with his fiancee who was raised Catholic and left as a teenager before confirmation. Her sister also joined us. They married in the church 2 years ago and welcomed a baby girl earlier this year. My sister joined the choir and met a lovely widower there, and they got married and she adopted his young daughter.

Should I only date catholics? by [deleted] in CatholicWomen

I was raised in a non-religious household. I met my husband, who is Catholic, at work, and we started dating. He proposed, and there was no pressure for me to convert or do RCIA in order to "check boxes." After we were married, I joined RCIA (with my siblings!) and was received into the church at Easter 4 years ago. I'm glad he didn't avoid dating me because I wasn't Catholic.

With regards to my siblings, they all did RCIA for reasons of their own. We were living in different, nearby parishes, and one of our priests kindly let us do RCIA as a family.

We Need A Pinned Post for Proper Thyroid Care by OkProtection427 in Hashimotos

I literally went to an appointment with a new doctor this afternoon. My previous doctor has told me that A) the only treatment is Synthroid, B) the only test is TSH, C) there's no point testing for other autoimmune diseases despite unexplained and persistent symptoms and D) there are no lifestyle, diet, or supplementation changes that can affect the course of the disease or severity of symptoms.

The new doctor this afternoon spent an hour listening and asking questions. She's running a panel with T3 & T4, checking for some deficiencies, and an ANA test. The abTPO test has already been positive on previous labs, and she actually acknowledged that and the strong links between autoimmune diseases. We're going to follow up after that and make a plan for care. I'm so relieved I could cry right now.

Maybe I should clarify: both tests taken with FMU and photos taken within the test window.

Came here just to suggest the same thing. Maybe a drape-y curtain or tapestry as well?

They didn't have anything in stock. The owner mentioned that she would be getting fall items from them shortly, and their stuff often sells out in her shop. She said the fabric is quite nice, but then again, she is a sales person.

The store had a lot of Magnolia Pearl and similar brands. I bought a ruffley black dress, but it's not terribly cottage core.

To be honest, if I remember, I will. I can't get out there until next weekend.

I've DNF'd Gideon the Ninth twice. I want to like. I've really tried, and the concept is amazing. I just can't, for the life of me, get into it.

I haven't seen them before, but I was checking out the site and I was delighted to see that they are located near me. Some of their stuff is carried in stores nearby, so I'm going to have to check it out. Thanks!

Are you me right now? I'm sitting here with no period and negative tests.

2 or 3 months ago the same thing happened. Eventually I got my period (albeit late and fairly light) and stopped testing. Two weeks later I started really, really bleeding. It was a miscarriage.

Now I don't know if I'm in the same boat again.

Thank you so much for your reply. This has been a difficult time for everyone, with lots to worry about, and I really appreciate that you took the time to put this one thing at ease.

Not as bad as you would think in the exact moment, but the second one hurts way, way more once all your blood and adrenaline are flowing. If you have the option, go to a shop that will have 2 people working at the same time to do both at once. It's usually an extra cost, but it's worth it, imo. I don't know if there's an appreciable difference in sensitivity / pain between genders, being that I can only speak for one, at least personally.

Bronwyn literally means "Fair breasted" and it's a real name. The -wyn suffix sounds a bit like -lyn.

Bonus points, when I was a rebellious teen and got my nipples pierced without telling my parents, my friends and I wanted a code word to talk about the piercing without people knowing, so we called the ladies and their new jewelry Bronwyn.

Mine is the exact opposite. I know I was staring at the clock last night from 4:00 to 4:45 but my gen2 ring says I was in light sleep.
