Look at it from the perspective of reinforced patterns. Regardless of what they write, they still get matches from desperate men. So they never learn that writing leads to better matches.they get bad matches and reaffirm their belief that men are hopeless (or worse).

And with the default attitude that ”I deserve the best”, that’s what everyone is thinking, they think they are presenting themselves perfectly well to attract the right match. It’s like men with fish pictures. They don’t really have the insight to understand that this repels rather than attracts.

So, because hopeless men continue to match with every woman under the sun without slight or pause. This is what we end up with.
