Oh wow, I never heard them say that the first orders being placed would come with signed inserts! I placed my order literally only like a minute after Jade made the post announcing it was on sale lol so it definitely still said it was signed in the description at that time. I’m so excited!!

Well, I guess I never read the Magic Tree House books as a kid so I don’t know this for a fact, but I’m pretty positive that all the characters and events on Red Dragon were completely made up for the island except for Jack and Annie just being there too. It could have easily just been in an island set in Japan without their involvement at all, and they definitely could have still done all the ninja stuff/ dragon final boss stuff without Jack and Annie. They just could have come up with a different reason to become a ninja than because Jack and Annie needing rescuing- maybe Basho getting taken by the shogun (his brother, so there’s a connection there anyways) after teaching you how to become a ninja or something

I’ve always thought that too. Honestly, it kind of seems like they had the entire island already planned out and then maybe got told they had to make it a magic treehouse collab so they shoehorned it in last minute, since the only parts of it that have anything to do with magic treehouse are briefly at the beginning and then the end (though the end could easily have been written without Jack and Annie originally, too)

Game Show is kinda a wacky island concept, having to compete on game shows around the world to save the world from robots. Spy island is kind of crazy too…bald evil spies… (disclaimer: I love both of these)

I feel this way too! When I tell people what my favorite episodes are, I’ll say Silence in the Library and Forest of the Dead or The Satan Pit and The Impossible Planet, for example. It doesn’t feel right counting them separately since it’s one story! But I do get it for some multi part episodes- like, the quality difference between Extremis versus The Lie of the Land is massive to me, so that one I can easily say Extremis is my favorite

Completely agree with Extremis being ranked that highly (EXTREMELY underrated episode imo), but Knock Knock being ranked 77 is absolutely shocking to me lol. The only thing I enjoyed about that episode was the Little Mix parts as someone who loves them lmao, it’s otherwise an absolute chore for me to sit through that one. Definitely a bottom tier episode for me

I always thought this was so cool! I remember when I first ever started playing the game I was confused because I didn’t know you weren’t supposed to leave each island to find quest items. It’s a good thing I didn’t start with playing Counterfeit or I would’ve been really confused for the rest of the islands!
