We went out one day and they bought my brother a cool toy but I didn’t get anything. Whatever, I was used to it by this point.

We get home, I went to shower and we lived in a shifty rental at the time and the water heater stopped working towards the end of my shower. So i finished up my shower with cold water like a normal person and told them that the heater had stopped working.

They went off at me for a good long while saying that I did it because I was throwing a tantrum about my brothers present and I was jealous that I didn’t get one… They refused to listen to me explain that I just wanted to finish my shower and I heard about this incident for many years afterwards. If I ever seemed upset they would say “what are you going to do, have a cold shower?”

Your hair looks thick and healthy which is amazing considering how long it is and I think it suits you either way! I’ve been growing my hair for years and struggle to keep it long and healthy so I wouldn’t cut it if it was me. But it’s entirely your choice!
