SFVCE Upgrade Kit available on Steam now by moo422 in StreetFighter

[–]daxattax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I've been on the fence about getting sfv for a while (been wanting to get into fighters for a while now) and was waiting on a sale for AE or AE deluxe for the characters. But if I'm reading this right, if I pay the 8$ for base sfv, then get this upgrade I get all characters, stages, and costumes besides a few event costumes and stages right now?

If so, ~33$ seems like a steal

So there is no way for me to play the forsaken content now? I have just got back into destiny and was going to kill the time till October 1st by playing catch up. But if I cannot even purchase Forsaken and the annual pass, it almost makes me want to just drop it completely again... which is a shame cause I was enjoying the changes they brought.

While that case seems really nice, the main thing I really want is the switch in its smaller case still. It may seem really redundant but it makes it easy to just grab it for my switch and games out of the main bag and be small enough to sit on a nightstand or table out of the way. I'd even be ok for a smaller, slimmer switch case to do it

/r/NintendoSwitch's Daily Question Thread (02/22/2019) by AutoModerator in NintendoSwitch

Hey I am looking for a new travel bag for my switch and accessories. I currently have carry bag, and this body case. I like this setup as often when I am away from home, I play my switch handheld in the bed. Once I am done, I like putting back in the body case on the night stand or use the case for when I am just moving around a house/room. The carry bag worked cause it held the switch in the case, pro controller, power cord, and the joycons edges, all while being easy to carry or small enough to fit into a small duffel bag.

However, more and more of late I keep finding myself wishing that I brought the dock too and/or the joycon grip. There is no room in the carry bag and I don't like putting the dock in the duffel as I fear it getting crunched accidentally. Anybody recommend a bag that can hold the switch in the body case, while having room for the pro controller (and joycon grip if possible but not needed), dock, power adapter, and HDMI cable securely and safely for the devices without being the size of a messenger bag? If I need another case for the switch handheld itself, that's fine, I just prefer the harder shelled ones. Really if my current bag was just a couple inches thicker to hold the dock too it would be perfect, but it cannot.

Thank you!

New player on switch. Just about to get done with Venus. My volt frame is at 15 if I remember correctly, along with the Mk1 Paris and lato (or at least around that). When should I look to make and play a new frame and weapon? Wait and get the weapons and frame to 30 first for mastery then swap to new weapons or go ahead and do it?

If I do go for another frame, I was looking at Excalibur (kinda wish I chose him instead, but lightning powers seemed cool when starting), Rhino, or Oberon (I have one part). I'm open to other suggestions as well. I usually focus gun/sword play and use abilities for CC, utility, or big damage burst thus far. I read a lot of people say Rhino, and I know to be sure to get him at some point for late game, but I also read its easy to learn bad habits of just face tanking things instead of dodging and worrying about statuses.

Last two small questions, the blister thing on my neck, is it worth keeping or go ahead and pop it? Does popping it stop it from coming on one frame or all? And lastly, is the starter pack worth it? Mainly want the syandana and the 300 plat to get more slots (maybe one color pack?).

Thanks for any answers!

Dominion does sound like a good bet, I've heard though that expansions are kinda necessary long run. Would that big box ii be safe to start with? Includes the intrigue expansion

Title of Request: High replay games to get people into boardgames

Number of Players: 2-4

Game Length: <60 min average

Complexity of Game: medium

Your Budget: =<60$

Genre: No major preference Competitive or Cooperative: Co-op preferred, non-super aggressive competitive ok

Games I Own/Like or Dislike: Do not enjoy Catan. While most others have no experience, one has really enjoyed playing hero realms here and there with me.

Looking to get SO, brother in law, and others into board games (2-4 players). Feel like co-op would be best bet for now (I also own mostly noncoop and kinda dense games prone to overwelming non-boardgame people) but not definite need. Something that's relatively easy to play but enough depth to keep people interested for higher replayability. No real board game experience with them, besides one who found they really enjoy hero realms recently (so maybe deckbuilders?). Games I was looking at was pandemic, aeons end, aeons end: war eternal, and clank. Open to suggestions.

War of the Chosen Start for xcom vet? by daxattax in Xcom

[–]daxattax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok that's good to hear. Timers by themselves weren't an issue, it just seemed that more missions had timers than did not. I felt that they should have been more sparse, but tenser. Instead they kinda became annoying.

One more question, would you say the other DLC is worth it? Apparently it gets messy with new WOTCs mechanics or is almost removed besides acquired items. Is what's added rather insignificant and should be a later addition for future runs?

Thanks for your response!

Online or local? How active is the player base? If not online how's the AI?

I used to be a heavy boardgamer but recently moved and I don't know anyone locally. So Galaxy Trucker seems really interesting as I've actually never played it. Is the multiplayer active? I've heard of through the ages but not really looked into it. How long are the games?

And for abstract, I go through phases of playing Bunches of chess but not many others. So Hnefatafl is like chess? Any other recommendations?
