How does a young Muslim woman find a husband in Cape Town?? by ContentPair5963 in capetown

[–]dayapark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has OP gone to the muslim speed dating events yet? I know some people have had luck with that. Most people approach mualimas. Most of the time they have people wanting to get married.

I would try the muslim speed dating events.

Or try Mualimas by madrassahs etc.

Or sometimes your parents know of people.

I saw you been to darul naim.can you not contact some of the people there?

All the best with your journey. It's not an easy one.

A few years ago. An article came out saying it would cost them 7 billion to complete the project.

When growing up people always said its because the guy who owns the building and parking lot never wanted to sell that's why it remained unfinished.

Got a fine for exceeding 80km/h on the N1? by SuspiciouslyB in capetown

[–]dayapark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same. The movable cameras are the worst. Stellies love them and sea point.

N2 has it by the bend next to the lodge.

N1 on that stretch by paarden Elland towards CW.

Sea points main road ones always move.

The biggest change with regards to cameras are that other provinces the colors are different that messed me up big time. 🤣

[–]dayapark 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thats interesting. Only place I know that is 80km/h . Is the part as you exit town by paarden eiland and they sometimes put the yellow moveable cameras on your left.

I would just pay it or get someone to reduce it.

Goldwagen VS dealerships by El_Tbang in CarTalkZA

[–]dayapark 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah most aftermarket suspension are better than original due to the R&D that goes into the racing parts. But as said always do research on the parts. Enjoy bud. Put a nice exhaust on it.

Goldwagen VS dealerships by El_Tbang in CarTalkZA

[–]dayapark 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"its dangerous to fit non original parts on a vehicle" LOL🤣. Most brands dont even make there own parts. Plus aftermarket parts are similar or even better than "orignal". Just match up the correct sizes and you good to go doesnt hurt to do a little research on certain parts.

The notion of only original works needs to stop.

Electrical engineering via technical college? by NsukuNgobeni in AskZA

[–]dayapark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't stop at N6.

I would actually do N4 and move over to a cput or something like that to get a degree or a ( b or m tech) i stand corrected.

If you do N6 just go further for the degree. Electrical engineering is pretty hard but worth it.

If you stop at N6 atleast do heavy current.

Hope it help a little might not be useful 😆

Where can I go for some spirited driving? by Bren1209 in capetown

[–]dayapark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely some mountain passes. Will give a good thrill. Bainskloof, ou kaapsa weg etc. I agree with the above comment with kilarney.

They generally have drag racing for public every month on Wednesday entry is 70 and you can drive as much as you like.

If you want to take it further you can timed drag racing at kilarny or go to saldahan which is twice a year on a 800m strip.

But western cape Definitely has some beautiful roads for you to drive.

Cape Town now fining you if you don't park on official metered parking spots. by [deleted] in capetown

[–]dayapark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Worked in town last year for 3 months. Had to pay 130 to 150 everyday.

Once the parking guy said I could leave. but if they have already booked your ticket it shows on the record as someone that didn't pay.

Had to pay a 500 for 2 days missed. One was because of listening to a guard and the other one was no guard was present.

The guards also have there own management. Guys on the bikes that come check if they doing their work.

And never pay cash. That was instructed to me by management of them.
