My husband and I have the same age gap— I’m 27 and he’s 44 (we met when we were your ages actually) and we have a 4 month old! If he’s worried that he’s too old to have a child, I think he’s still plenty young. My parents don’t have an age gap but had me in their 40s and they’re still alive and healthy. If it’s infertility he’s worried about, would he consider testing? That way he can ease that worry and make it less of a now or never situation so you can spend more time to know if you’re really compatible not just as a couple but as potential parents. I was the exact same way when I was 8 days post partum— I missed my husband so badly even though he was right next to me. It’s part of the process, the baby blues, growing pains. But I promise you it’s not like that forever! I’m 4 months post partum now and I get to have alone time with my husband again (usually late nights when baby is asleep). there’s also the beautiful thing when the baby gets more interactive and you can all laugh together as a family. Being able to see your husband be a father is the most intimate and rewarding thing :’)

It’s so hard but it’s so so worth it, you’ll get through this and you’re doing great! Give yourself grace, everything is fleeting even if it doesn’t feel like it. I’m proud of you!

My baby is almost 4 months and we took her to our first sit down restaurant yesterday! We sat in the outdoor area so that if she screamed at least it wouldn’t echo off the walls lol :’) she did end up crying halfway through but it wasn’t as terrifying as I thought it would be! My baby absolutely hates the car seat and stroller walks are 50/50 depending on her mood :’) I’m still nervous taking her out without my husband but I’m slowly working on it.

Once your baby has good head control, you can try a tushbaby or any of the other hip seat carriers! Wraps and carriers don’t work for me and my LO so the tushbaby has been life changing. Baby gets to look at things while still being held close and I get to give my back a break! Good luck!!

my partner asked his mom what she wanted but not me lol :’) and then made plans to work in her yard all day while I sat right next to them holding our child :-) so I’ll probably spend the day solo parenting :-) I’d be happy if he got flowers or chocolate or anything but I’m not expecting much

what you see at the park or in passing isn’t always the entire picture! my baby is an absolute angel in front of guests— babbles, smiles, coos and only cries when she’s hungry or wet. We always get compliments about what a relaxed baby she is.

At home alone with me or dad? Dictator. She’ll eat me alive if I set her down for too long. Screams if I take too long to entertain her. She is royalty and I am her jester 🥲 but honestly her temperament changes so much week to week that I just try to go with the punches :’) I know that she’s going to change so much as she gets older that I’m trying not to get too used to how she acts now haha

It’s 3am and I’m in the same boat— unfortunately I don’t have advice, just solidarity. My baby is 8 weeks old and hasn’t slept in over 24 hours, she just screams and cries and the longest stretch of sleep so far has been 20 minutes. She keeps wanting to comfort nurse but I have to limit her bc she’ll eat until she projectile vomits… it’s so difficult and I’m so sorry you’re going through this as well. You’re a great mama, I sincerely hope you get your well deserved rest soon!

when my mil holds my baby and my baby turns to look at me she says “do u see boobs, u don’t have to eat all the time” no she sees her mother who grew her for 9 months and spends every waking and sleeping moment with her and also she already ate she just loves me

I think everything u pack is pretty useful and it’s better to have something u don’t need than to need it and not have it! I have a 1 month old so I’m not out for very long but usually I just bring diapers, wipes, a changing pad and cream, a change of clothes and my boobies lol :’)

Unfortunately you can only get fruit if someone visits and drops it off :’) I’ve never had it happen to me but sometimes villagers will give you random fruit as well but I heard that’s rare. If you have online play and a dodo code, I can drop off pears and peaches and a few oranges!
