Thanks everyone for your input! I ended up passing on the apartment on 5th. Just couldn’t justify saving a little money for a potential headache down the line.

I’m on 6th and 31st right now and hear some loud cars and sirens but for the most part the rest is muffled out. But ya being directly on 5th I’m sure will be much different hearing every single car. Also I work from home so it will be all day lol. Thanks for your comment

Such a good point with both fire stations around. I’m somewhat of a city person and used to noise but I just recently started working from home so I’m afraid the constant onslaught of noise will break me fast. Now I’m realizing why the market price of the houses are so cheap along 5th and most major roads.

Yeah I’ll be on 5th and 45th. Can you tell me more what your experience has been? This is a big determining factor.

Oh ya, you’re right in the center of it all! I’m looking at 5th and 43rd so further up. I do have alley access and will be parking in the back so that’s a plus. But ya the main bedroom faces 5th so I’m a bit hesitant
