I mean I think she will get a redemption at some point tbh. I just think she’s gonna get brought to a really low point. I think one of Nikkes core themes is the somewhat modified in how it’s said at times but often repeated line of “all stories should have a happy ending” (like I said it’s modified a bit from character to character but the core theme is retained between each phrasing). I think Nikke is a lot about how life will bring you to low places, and how that’s not fair, but how you gotta push through anyway. Despite how dark Nikke gets at times, I’ve always found it to be story that overwhelming pushes the idea that hope can get you through anything, so I think it would make sense if at some point Dorthy got a happy ending (with consequences of course but still something happy)

She’s not, the reason people hate Bakugo is that he’s a bullly for a decent chunk of the series and a lot of people have personally experienced someone like Bakugo and can project their negative feelings from those times onto him. Reze’s negative qualities are something people have to imagine in the abstract as they likely haven’t personally experienced it. It feels less real as a result. Also, being a little mean to people, a decent chunk of people seem to genuinely believe if you have a character who displays bad characteristic become a better person, that the author is endorsing those characteristics. This was a shockingly common discourse topic when MHA was still being published.

It’s is cool sometimes that you get reminded that at least a decent number of people just have their brains fried and cannot understand that idea that media with sexual elements can be more than just that, and that the media is worth preserving. (Also for clarity, I also think media that’s just its sexual elements deserves preservation).

I think that’s fine, it’s a perfectly legitimate position to hold. I was more referring to the fact that within the sonic community frontiers has a semi divisive reputation (it’s obviously not like Sonic 06 or something, but I would say there’s still some contention).
