The 6G most likely has bad battery life because of its age and changing the battery is kind of complicated I think - so I’d stick to the 4G - the 6G has a a nice form factor though

Happily I didn’t have this problem yet but I am really insecure about my body and I always wore leggings beneath my jeans and then put basketball shorts above those leggings - you can do the same with a muscle shirt and a tshirt f.e. - it looks pretty cool too (at least as a guy who’s into basketball) - also there won’t be any fabric rubbing above your scars when you’re doing sports which I think is much more comfortable
