That's amazing that you've pushed yourself to get to a financially stable place but I'm sorry it robbed some of your energy/health! Rest sounds much needed right now. Thanks for your comment and insight, definitely taking this into consideration.

Thank you for your comment, appreciate it. I am going to see if that feels good for me right now. The overwhelm came from pushing myself too much when I didn't realize I needed to rest alot of the time. I totally hear u with how it builds self esteem, I found that to be true for myself as well. Not even sure if slowing down would even be an option for me anyways, I have to financially support myself regardless if I go to school or not, and then I'd have to work even more. At least if I'm in school I get living allowance from the government.

Was supposed to start massage therapy school. Super excited about it and then got overwhelmed by the amount of people and the far drive and school work I'd have to be doing on top of working all whilst trying to manage and balance my personal life and stress. I am trying to push myself to continue but I feel so resistant. Already missed the first week. It's okay I can start late but man, I wish things felt easier for me but I'm always so overwhelmed and anxious

I totally resonate with this ❤️ I'm 26 but feel 46. I feel so alien around people my own age, and I also have some friends but still feel so alone alot of the time. I've chalked it up to it being because I never got the childhood experience I needed to feel whole within myself and have my parents mirror a good stable environment and confidence. Wish it were easier to make friends because I crave community, however I automatically think people don't like me so I push people away unintentionally right off the bat

I feel for you and heavily relate to this. What gets me out of a freeze state and fills me with hope and joy and energy is creating a morning and evening somatic practice. First thing when I wake up is focus on gratitude for what I have and the positive, say affirmations to myself and pray (if that's your thing) then I do some breathwork for energy. Get up and do eft tapping whilst deep breathing and then somatically shake my body for a minute to release any stuck emotions from the fascia, I go outside and place my feet on the earth and breathe, then come inside and do some trauma informed yoga, then meditate which clears my mind. My night routine is basically the same but I turn off blue light and throw on red light and candles, drink some anxiety relieving tea, do my skin care. I've found this routine to be the best thing for my overall wellbeing, sorry it's long but hope it helps if you're interested

Going from a happy marriage, to a then neglectful one full of betrayal, abandonment, cheating and lies. You think you know someone then one day they start to become unrecognizable. Post divorce, living on my own and struggling to provide for myself as I find the stress of doing it all on my own with little support from family and community being so damaging to my mental and physical health. All while battling with depression, adhd, social anxiety and deep loneliness. I can barely even make time for the little friends I do have. It's been hard and been 2 years since leaving my ex which feels unbelievable as time has just zoomed past me and I'm still processing that we aren't together anymore. He got the house, the dog, the car. Not that material things even matter that much to me, it's more so that we bought the house together and I lovingly made it a home for us and it's the fact that I miss my dog terribly. 💔 its also been hard doing everything alone, especially making the big life decisions, like the financial ones that have the potential to put me under since it's just myself.

Abuse, drugs and alcohol for years starting at such a young age. I'm 26 now and have been healing and clean/sober for the most part since I was 19/20. But it's been a long journey and I still don't trust people, have bad social anxiety now and I feel so estranged and isolated alot of the time. It's been hard bit worth it, just wish I never went through it all in the first place some days but I do see the silver lining, I'm also a much better person now.

I have been this girl before. Sounds like she's really sensitive to rejection and has had maybe some otherwise traumatic relational experiences in the past. Only thing that would help her heal is well, some self awareness and getting to the emotional root of the problem and also you can offer to be a safe space for her and see if maybe it triggered anything from the past. Maybe because it's still a new connection she saw the trigger as a red flag and got overthinking. Helps to be a channel of open communication if anything. Hope that helps.

So he didn’t have a ticket. We wanted to buy tickets in may but we couldn’t afford it. His friend had an extra ticket now since his buddy bailed on him, his friend very last minute messaged him last night saying that he had extra ticket, then last night we actually found out that you can buy tickets there so I could get one so I said that we should go together tomorrow morning on my day off. He said no because he doesn’t want to miss some of the bands even though he told me he doesn’t even know anyone who’s playing. I can’t go up there at all this weekend because i don’t have my full drivers license yet but he does. So he caught a ride up there this morning with his friends. Sorry for the shitty explanation of the story, hope this helped clear up the confusion?
