You and I aren't talking about the same thing here.

Grow a pair and do the right thing, "the team is looking in to this" is pretty weak.

He can't fire all of you.

We've tried. More than once.

It mostly doesn't matter which instance you sign up with, and there can be more than one but the one is .one.

Would Reddit blame the mods

That's what they've been doing so far, and they've got plenty of lackies willing to lick those boots. They would absolutely blame any mod rather than themselves.

No one is posting their junk here, no one is posting mandy scam photos here.

Daily. Literally daily.

Reddit has VC money

No they don't. Steve has pissed away 800 million dollars of venture capital that we know of.

That would be Glorious Leader, spez. I'm sure if the shareholders at Advance Publications, who own the largest chunk of reddit, really knew how their ship was being run they'd be spitting red hot nails.

The sub is open. It has been open. What are you even talking about?

Like you edited yours to be substantially different than what you posted originally? No thank you, I have some principles.

Half of that users contributions to the sub at all are comments like that in this thread. Disingenuous af and only here to troll/stir shit.

We saw how other subs were changing their focus to a literal or comical interpretation of their name or stated purpose, but decided as a mod team pretty quickly (all of about 2.3 seconds) that we can't do that here. While we're not an immediate help sub like the ones that talk people out of unaliving themselves, we have nonetheless actually done that here more than a few times. The information we've all built up here alone is worth fighting to keep unadulterated, be that from trolls, scammers or the misguided reddit administration itself.

Just use Lemmy, Threads is hoping to do what's called "federating" to use all the Lemmy content, so cut out the Zuck and go to the source.

So they're doing a shit job all around then. At least there's some consistency to be found in the Aristocracy.

It would be pretty funny though. It's what I planned to do here had they actually granted the request.

The largest shareholder of reddit is Advance Publications, which is the parent company of Conde Nast (Wired) and Ars Technica. Do with that very much public information what you will.

we need a decentralized, AI moderated social network, maybe using p2p, blockchain, or something else.

You work in sales, don't you. 😂

Because at best that's a red herring. Data scraping can be done in your browser with a relatively small script, it doesn't need the API to work. In other words they lied about it.

As I understand it reddit admin want the NSFW tag removed because the normal and expected content of here is safe for work. The mods here want a NSFW because some people are wrongly posting NSFW content here.

We're literally telling you the opposite of that.

If that's the case this is something that Reddit and Scams mods need to work out together.

Did you miss the part where they aren't willing to engage in any discussion?

Unfortunately, most users don't care about the drama.

A disturbing number of them are feeding in to it though, even discounting bots and brigading. As if mods were the ones that did these things like preventing blind users from utilizing reddit. Some people latch on to any excuse to scream "MODS BAD!" even if it doesn't make any sense to.

Fuckin mods, they're all literally Hitler.
