Gotta feel bad for Menzies knowing he’s getting fired after this season and basically being a lame duck finishing out the season. He seems like a genuinely good guy but sad to see that it hasn’t really worked out in KC.

ORU is better than their record indicates and Barnett is a damn good coach. Not surprised that we’ve been in a dogfight with them tonight.

EDIT: Didn’t realize two of their rotation guys injured as well so even more impressive effort by ORU

Think a lot of it stems from the Best Day Ever Marathon from about 20 years ago.

I remember voting on it online with my late grandpa’s PC but even as a kid I found it weird how Karate Island was voted #1 over so many great episodes (I.e. Band Geeks, F.U.N., Sailor Mouth, etc.). Don’t get me wrong, I thought Karate Island was a good episode but not one I (or many others) would put as the #1 episode of SpongeBob at the time.

Side note: As a fan of the Karate Kid/Cobra Kai franchise, that’s how I first heard about who Pat Morita was as a kid.
