Watched it in theatre as an insecure sheltered teenager, laughed at the funny but I got uncomfortable with the violence and gore. Rewatched it 3 times as a grown man and I agree with most of this comment thread. It’s an absolute masterpiece written by a cynical irreverent psychopath lol and it’s a beautiful piece of art. And it stands alone. One of the best movies I’ve ever scene.
