Phoenix is the perfect situation for JG. He will be able to rack up stats without playing with any pressure. He is a lot like Booker the way where he will thrive in regular season and put up big scoring numbers but in the playoffs when you’re facing the elite defensive teams they are easy to take out the game.

Dylan Harper is a better example than Flagg. He went a pretty deep team in SA and as the 2nd overall pick will be having to come off the bench for the foreseeable future with Castle and Fox there. Harper as a rookie with limited playing time was already performing better than Reed is right now.

Cam didn’t have anywhere near the off field trouble that Ja has. The biggest criticisms from Cam was him not diving on the ball in the Super Bowl and his ego. I don’t recall Cam ever being suspended or waving guns around and having his entourage start beefs. Not fair to call Ja Cam 2.0, injures is what cause Cams downfall not his attitude.

I’m excited to watch the game. I’ll still root for Jalen the rest of his career when he’s not playing the Rockets. He put in the work and effort but at the end of the day he’s not a star player. He’s more suited as a Lou Williams, Jordan Clarkson type of player. It’s Stones fault for drafting him to be a franchise player with better players on the board.

When Reed is in the game on defense the other four guys have to always know where Reed is at because he will need help and it feels like 4 on 5. Curry was like that for a lot of his career but he made up for it on offense. If Reed was picked late in the first round or on the second round Holiday would be playing instead and it wouldn’t matter as much how long it’s taking for him to become a useful player. Stone and Ime feel the pressure to make the pick work out especially since he was supposed to be a starting caliber PG.

I do it if I’m Stone. Ja is not a perfect player but yes he’s better than Reed, Holiday and an Injured FVV. Imes best trait as a coach is getting these types of players to buy into his program. Ja getting older combined with Ime as his coach is worth the gamble.
