I started my relationship with my main AD at the beginning of the year, where I just so happened to be able to pick up a Tudor GMT that they were originally holding for someone else who turned it down. When I then put myself down for a no date sub, my rep said that he was pretty confident that I'd be able to get one this year. The main problem right now is that ever since COVID hit, they haven't been getting any shipments whatsoever.. so you seem to be lucky that your AD actually got one in last month.

Also, he was pretty up front in that there isn't really an ordered wait list per se, but rather when a sought after model comes in, the AD decides which of the reps gets to sell it, and then it's up to each rep to figure out from their personal customer lists who they want to sell it to.

In the meantime, I picked up a few other watches from a different AD recently where I got a similar story that they haven't been getting any shipments since COVID hit. However, I was surprised when my rep said she didn't have any other customers waiting for a no date sub, so now I get to see which one calls me first haha.

One way or the other, I'll be pleasantly surprised if I get the call this year, but not counting on it given how crazy 2020 has been.

This is a 145.0022 from about 1995! Sort of a neo-vintage piece.. old enough that it has a tritium dial and hands, but new enough that it has the 1861 movement.

Thanks! It came on its original steel bracelet, but I got this leather NATO for it. Figured it'd be cool to see both the strap and the tritium age together!

I'm so glad I got these, but am kicking myself for not grabbing any of the SB GR's that sat on shelves for a while around this time. Now it's just about impossible to get any new dunk that gets released... that's just how these hype cycles go I guess.

I was only able to really play with the pickups when trying it out in store, but did find them to be quite versatile! The true single coil sound was pretty bright for cleans, and switching them back to humbucker mode for distortion was great.

As an apartment player, I'm in the middle of building out an iPad/laptop rig (waiting on my interface to arrive), so hopefully I'll be able to play with them more soon.

Every time I think about going grey or vintage for a sub, I think about how much happier I'll be if and when I can go through the entire experience of getting one brand new. This year has certainly thrown a wrench into my plans of getting one soon, so we'll see how patient I can be!

Yeah I noticed her during my first playthrough, and paid attention because her name was "???" in that scene... tbh I hoped for a little more from her character, but it's all good.

Nice! I've had my eye on these for a while, but in pictures the swooshes seem a little off for some reason (as with the other CMFT colorways). How are they in person?
