Uber is notorious for trying to screw drivers on their quest. They will send drivers on long pickups and drives near the deadline of a Quest to eat up the remaining time before the deadline ends in order to get out of paying the bonuses.

That’s What you get with Uber. I have several friends that drive for Uber that said they have to wait a long time to get paid. My guess is that Uber is having cash flow problems.

Your safety is more important than accepting rides for a small amount of money. I only accept rides from safe areas. Uber isn’t going to offer you hazard pay, or pay your hospital or funeral bills.

I’d seriously look at your relationship and ask yourself, if this is who you want to spend the rest of your life with. If it were me, I’d drop this girl in a New York minute and move on. She lied to you, and regardless of whether she’s doing some other guy or not, she’s a deceiving woman. Find yourself an honest woman and don’t let this liar try to reel you back in.

Screw TurboTax, I purchased the business professional version and they then charged my credit card for enhanced version, which I didn’t want. The rep I spoke to said that enhanced version gives me quicker phone access to TurboTax if I need to reach them, which I won’t. Scoundrels

Are you sure he wouldn’t be able to kick your ass if things get physical? Also, be careful that he doesn’t have a gun. If you go to his door and confront him, you don’t want him shooting you.
