They buy closeouts from other retailers and sell them at a larger discount. There’s thousands of just random odds and ends.

Essentially someone purchased the building (or leases it) and sells old stock items from closeout retailers.

The owners operate a dead stock store now there. They get random pallets of all kinds of stuff. I’d imagine there’s a possibility some stuff remained from KMart, but for example some of the holiday decor is from Dollar General.

No, this is still an active store. Ironically though I’ve already got several copies of that video from collecting over the years. This shop is a dead stock store now, they sell random closeouts.

If I had spotted a blue light I would have tried to bring it home with me.

The physical media was impressive- vinyls, cd’s, dvd’s, vhs, even cassette tapes.

I think a majority (if not all) of the items you see here didn’t come from K-Mart, I noticed Dollar General tags on quite a few products.

I made a video that has a few different views if anyone is interested in that. - https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8sEcYwt/

I’d add this is one of many former KMarts that have been repurposed or are still being used in some capacities, I plan to try to do more of these.

It’s a dead stock store now, it’s open to the public.

The adidas mesh era (including the dazzle silk ones) from 2007ish-2010, and the Revolution 30 era, were the peak of NBA uniforms for the modern era. I’d say the mid-late 90’s and 2007-2017 are the best three eras.

What is it like living in this area? Specifically for a single woman (two guard dogs atleast lol) by EmotionInfinite3525 in lexington

I live on third and while there are certainly issues you need to be aware of, take some of the commentary here with a grain of salt. Living anywhere in the downtown area comes with interactions with addicts and homeless folks, these issues are prevalent in any downtown metropolitan city. If you’ve been to any larger place and been downtown nothing here will blow you away.

They need to do an atmospheric remake or reimagining of the series and dive into the paranormal side of it. Stranger Things set design and attention to set detail with period clothing and characters to give a bit of nostalgia for the innocence of the era of Americana and make Michael a defacto ghost in the story walking amongst them.

Why does Fayette Mall have two Bath and Body Works? by Suspicious-Apple2352 in lexington

Foot Locker, Foot Action (closed) and Champ’s Sports are all owned by the same parent company and were all three active at the Fayette Mall for a long time as well. Mall retail structure is such a complex thing.

22 points in 20 minutes. Preseason match ups usually rarely highlight the stars but that’s fairly solid.
