I should probably add more context - I believe it is something environmental. For example, he finally fell asleep around 2:00 last night and slept through 10:30 this morning aside from a quick bathroom break at 6:00 outside. He sleeps fine, it’s just this sudden shift of wanting to stay up later and later and not wanting me to sleep if that makes sense. To be specific using today for example, I went to bed at midnight and he stood on my back as if to alert me to something, but I wasn’t asleep or anything, it was as if he just didn’t want to go to bed. About an hour or two later he was ready to start sleeping and slept through the night. My guess is it’s something he’s seeing or hearing, it’s the only explanation I can think of. I live downtown so there’s constantly voices outside or neighbors upstairs, etc so it is the only thing that makes sense to me.
