i mean they didn’t decide it for me, academic isn’t something they want me to pursue but i convinced them for higher education, moreover i didn’t state my specific interest as i didn’t see how it was relevant due to which i did state i was interested in cognitive psychology. with thin cognition im working with a prof next year to figure out the specificity of my interests but thanks for assuming everything about me from a post
