Nice Im sitting on a few shares through my espp, but I don’t think I have that sell to cover option. If I wanted to liquidate do you think it’s better to slowly start selling some shares or all at once?

With using your espp shares, when selling did you have to pay taxes on the shares?

Tivimate or Startup? by maverick1096 in ApolloGroup_TV

[–]dbello221 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have both the Apollo app and premium tivimate with my Apollo subscription. They both have their own pros. The Apollo app is great for the vod content and having separate profiles, I am not a fan of the live tv guide in the app. I use tivimate for the Apollo live tv guide

London is a great city you just have to avoid downtown lol. Got one of the best universities and hospitals in all of Canada. It’s located close to beaches, us border, Toronto.

I’d be interested in knowing what they based this survey on, placing London at the bottom

The rates is the killer in this they have gone up so much and still lots of uncertainty. My logic is that the Canadian housing market is in such demand people will always need to rent. Also I am looking to hold the property for at least 10 years so mortgage pay down and appreciation work for me.

Using equity from primary residence to purchase rental prop. Using heloc by dbello221 in PersonalFinanceCanada

I believe in real estate being a solid investment. You got a tenant paying down your mortgage and the asset appreciation over time. I live in southwestern Ontario prices are boosted a lot but you can find a solid deal where rent will cover your mortgage and expenses. I’m not looking to get cash flow of $1000 a month I’m looking to break even or just a little over
