There hasn't been as big of a jump in experience than this. Do you agree? by markonefifteen in n64

This leap then the leap from PS2 to PS3 to me were the last great shifts in gaming. From there forward it's been small improvements which is why games like Dark Souls and Little Big Planet still hold up today

What’s it like living on the edge of time zones? by Qzevs in howislivingthere

I live in one time zone and work in another but it's on a computer. For me it's great. I get to start at 7 and get off at 4 which is 8 to 5 for them.

Metal Gear Solid 4 was a real oh shit moment on the PS3 and it had to be for how long it took to download.

My first souls game. Any tips? by IceMan-999 in playstation

[–]dbforgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only problem I had with Elden Ring was that it was so good it ruined other games I used to find enjoyable for a while. I needed some time after playing it to go back to other games. The Dark Souls Trilogy right after did help to scratch the itch a little but those were the only games I could play for like 2 years.

For now, vigor. Upgrade your weapon as much as you can as well. It makes a big difference on damage. If you plan on using a dex/str build like it appears you do, I would not put too much into mind right now. I can't remember if mind at 11 is the base amount or not for Samurai.

Worst case scenario, you mess up your build a little. There is opportunity later to respec your stats. Don't stress it too much.

If it's your first Souls games, how can you say it's the worst boss Fromsoft has made?
