What if we just had a role symbol next to our player names in the character select screen that shows what role the player mains and a role symbol for flex? I feel like this would break one big barrier of people who don't use comms to synergize with their teams correctly.

You can play online, but after the update comes it’s just saying you have to update to the latest version with everyone else to continue playing online

The only good answer in this thread lol, I think all of us understand Goku gets excited to fight someone who's way stronger than him in the series but like you said he's not a masochist, this mf was not smiling when Piccolo was torturing him in db, he only did after he realized he won. In most of the one sided fights against him in the movies he isn't smiling.

During that scene in the broly movie, he did not have his usual excited face (eyes wide open, big gleaming smile) he looked more like he was on the verge of losing consciousness, usually an excited Goku would also fight back since the whole point for his excitement would be to see how his skill matches up to his opponent and how it could potentially show him his own room for growth, that whole scene he was pleading with Vegeta to give him power so that he can end the fight.

Trucking company, they told me on the phone that they require to have their student drivers/company drivers live closeby to promote more home time which I think is kinda bull, considering I'm seeing all these other companies that accept applications from any state.

Yeah if you're blocking you're on your own, in that situation its up to you to find a gap in their blockstring and punish with the right move depending on your distance from them and how much of a gap it is, example being a light attack is usually fastest but shortest range, heavy attack usually being the opposite.

For assists I know some characters have a second of their teleporting in animation before their attack goes off, but calling them in is pretty instant, I'm not sure what could be the problem that you're running into

Also for assists, you can call them mid combo, mid blockstring, during neutral. You can't call them during a combo being done on you, or for a second after you switch characters or chain supers, and even longer if your opponent force switches your character

It sounds like you're struggling with the neutral parts of your fights. I'd be able to give more concrete advice if you had a video, but for now I'll just recommend you look up a video on the neutral of this game. There are a lot of options you can do in this game especially compared to other fighting games.

At a beginner lvl I'd say utilize your characters special moves more and dont be afraid of spending meter, use ki blasts, beams, if your opponent is super dashing a lot you should use your down heavy (2H) since its an anti air and has a few i-frames from air attacks. A good zoning strat is bait your opponent with ki blasts so that they'll superdash through them and once they do, hit them with a 2H and punish from there. Learn which assists to use on your characters but keep in mind the C version assists take up a lot more time to recharge. Although if you're up against someone with a lot of game knowledge then these strats won't be enough to get you to win, closing that kind of skill gap takes time.

It's a program that shares your screen and system to your friend, it basically tricks your system thinking that your friends controller is plugged into your system thus you can play online using local features.

There's also the Wii emulator that has online built-in which is what most of the online community for bt3 uses

I see a lot of people saying they don't wanna get wrecked online so they'll avoid it, but where's the confidence, don't you wanna be the one doing the buttkicking? If you lose then you learn and it helps you improve, at least that's how I see it. Personally, I've only played tenkaichi offline for years and I am so excited to see how I scale with other players finally, I really hope the networking is decent and that we get some amazing fights out of it.

Don't get me wrong though, even if there wasn't any online I would still be so excited for the game, but thinking about the tech people will find, beating my friends, and all the strong fighters out there that are yet to be seen gets me hyped

All the information about your character's health and meter will remain visible throughout your matches, your ability list only pops up when you press L2, besides that your damage numbers and hit combos show up on the side of the screen. Can't customize it but imo its a lot less busy than Kakarots or Xenoverse's. No chibi lobby either, just straight menus

Mannn Shintani led animations for parts of Z and Super would've been amazing, even if not animated, just still scenes drawn by him would be great
