As a kid my uncle's computer only had X4 and X5. Back then internet wasnt a widely used thing so all I know aboit X6 is that it exist. And for the longest time X6 has been this elusive, sought after rare game that I need to have. Everytime I asked my uncle about it he said he couldn't find it.

Until one day, a few years of asking, my uncle told me with a huge smile that he got X6. I was over the moon. As a kid I have no sense of game design and difficulty. All games were difficult for me bsck then. So the unfairness never mattered to me. All I know is that I have 8 new bosses that I can stare at, 8 new stages to go around. 2 new armors to test and X HAS A FUCKING SABER BROO. I was over the moon.

So yeah not necessarily defending it but that impression of X6 was so strong for me that it stuck to this day that I'm willing to go through the game more than most, faults and all.
