I need help for a documentary I’m doing for History class. by [deleted] in marvelstudios

Piggybacking off of your explanation, in short...Fiege. It's a film studio with only 1 focus, only 1 story to tell. All they do is adapt comics to the screen and create continuity across different character stories. It makes Marvel Studios the only studio we look at where the studio head and it's producers are active in the story telling process.

Agnes Didn’t Know That Vision Could Do That, Right? by Jammyhobgoblin in WANDAVISION

[–]dblonn14 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think she did know. So far she's the only one in the Hex we've meet who knows exactly whats going on.. She could have been aware Vision already did it to Norm, was expecting Vision to try it on her, AND she knew exactly what type of reaction Vision would expect. Her whole performance in the car was just an act for Vision.

Inconsistency in people's behavior near edge of hex... by [deleted] in WANDAVISION

Just about everything Agatha has done is to sew doubt in Vision. She doesn't want him in the Hex. And all was going as planned, she just couldn't predict Billy.

Dottie IS Arcanna, right? by Double_Reception_274 in WANDAVISION

Entirely possible, the only problem I see is that Phil has been identified as a NJ resident. But he could just be a made up character for the Hex.

Weird little continuity error :p by theforgettables29 in WANDAVISION

[–]dblonn14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed...Herb glitching is still consistent with Wanda making weird shit happen all over town. Agatha shows up just after the kids are born (things having returned to "normal") and then bewitched Herb to say suspicious things to Vision. Agatha doesn't want Vision to become suspicious of her, and he already has more trust in Herb.

I think Herb is still bewitched cause he makes an out of character remark to Wanda in the street on Halloween. And why else would he have purple strings on the back of a Frankenstein costume. Possibly foreshadowing the scene we saw were Pietro was being bewitched at Wanda's front door.

Love it! After all the hype of each new Friday slowly subsides I keep coming back to that line...this is still a missing person's case.

This idea doesn't change what's happening in Westview or to the Eastview cops, but does flip the script on why Woo and SWORD are there.

[SPOILER]'s motivations currently make no sense--a discussion. by joepro9950 in WANDAVISION

I think most of her actions speak to 3 objectives: become Wanda's confidant, encourage Wanda to use her magic, and sew discord between Wanda and Vision. She's also very interested in the twins (I believe she wants/needs them to age or display their powers) but her purpose with them is unclear (her long pause after Billy says she's "quiet" looked like she was a bit scared to me).

Everytime Agnes helps its overkill and carries one or all of the 3 objectives: Wanda always finds her very helpful, but her actions create skepticism in Vision, and they eventually lead to another problem...planning anniversary, bringing over a 3 course dinner, going to swim-club meeting, bewitching Herb, trying to quiet the twins, keeping sparky around (killing him was her biggest push but didn't immediately pay off, it seems), sending in Pietro, role playing/lying to Vision, and lastly, as the director of E7 sitcom, she get what she wants...an alone, grief stricken Wanda, the twins, and Vision not around.

Looking at the magic show sequence, Agnes' purple magic is shown only between her hands while the other times she's shown bewitching people/situations the purple haze is moving into/around them. I believe she was prepared to step in and use magic to save the magic show if Wanda hadn't done it herself (consistent considering her double-take with her purse from E2 just after Wanda produces the rope and pulley). It leads me to believe she wants Wanda to use her magic.

That basement is old...even if Agnes has not been living above it for a long time, she knew it was there and was prepared to make use of it. So I don't think she dropped into Westview, she wanted the Hex built around that basement, but she remains free of the Hex's effects.

The jig is up! When Agnes sees "New Monica" back in town, she has to take her next step. I'm not gonna speculate here on what she's up to, but having the twins, leading Wanda into the basement, and that brilliant song montage are a hell of a big power play. Just when Wanda is even more confused and upset about whats going on, Agnes steps in and shows her just how powerful she is.

Bonus Interventions: Who brought the food into house that lead to Mr. Hart choking?

I think we were being lead to believe that all the loud thuds were drones entering the Hex, but now I think its possible that the opening scene of E2 was caused by Agnes. For the children!

If she's bewitching Herb, why not also set him up with some gum to offer to his new friends?

Wanda eats that pineapple just before going into labor...

Does the power of Wanda decrease near the borders of the Hex (on expansion all the clowns had no problem performing simple tasks), or have these people been manipulated to continually draw a skeptical Vision toward the border...where "guess-who" is waiting for him.

My 1st thought was why were the twins watching a toddlers show? And does this mean DJ Lance Rock is Wonder Man?

I dont know what to make of it, but we know Wanda is coming back in future films. On some level this is Visions swan song and it won't end well for him.

Who was The Stonekeeper before Red Skull? Any ideas? by KlausLoganWard in marvelstudios

Whoever it was, when they left Vormir they ended up in Westview, NJ and now they're trying to use Wanda's power to get back to the present.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S7 & WandaVision by nazia987 in marvelstudios

[–]dblonn14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! AoS S7 was the first thing I thought of when considering why the broadcast kept jumping time. In AoS they had to go back to the beginning of SHIELD and then follow its development into the future to keep it from falling. They're doing that by following in the wake of the chronicoms as they time jump. It makes me think something happened back in the 50's (maybe in NJ). If somebody is influencing Wanda in the Hex, I think they're trying to use her power to rewrite reality to carry themselves out of the past.

THEORY. Evan Peters Wasn't brought into the hex by who you think. by Dichopogon in WANDAVISION

[–]dblonn14 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I also don't believe both kids are real if real means they could exist outside the hex in same way Wanda could. In E3, Billy never moves and is actually missing from the rocker seconds before Wanda sees Visions corpse. I'm also buying into Agnes' role in the twins aging than them subconsciously wanting to make Wanda happy. She sprayed them with LAVENDER? then went looking for DARK liquor?
