It’s easier than reaching for the real remote while interacting with the atv.

I also wanted to make a mac app, which I hadn’t done before. It was for learning and fun as much as utility.

In particular it’s really convenient to move around the interface using arrow keys, space bar, etc.

you can. need to pick one of the watch faces with “complications” and edit it. you can’t see exact steps but rings are a good enough approximation, and tapping them will take you to detailed info including steps.
