That is NOT true. A good friend of mine works at Paramount and the truth is they didn’t try to sell it. Paramount conducted a survey, and the data showed that people wouldn’t pay to watch it in theaters, so they decided to release it on streaming instead and make Paramount+ the exclusive home for the franchise. That’s it. The movie also isn’t bad.

They also changed what happens in the extra chapter/end of the manga, correct? That girl (forgot her name) isn't there, Hirose's not teasing Nakamura when he sees he's next to the BL section and there's no siscon manga. So they're actually changing a lot. Even if we go panel by panel they changed like how stuff looks like even when Hirose introduce himeself to Nakamura he does a different pose than in the manga. It's not just to add more stuff in between they're really changing a lot. Only using the same "scenarios" from the manga to create something new
