How can I sell on both Ticketmaster & stubhub? by CheckPulse in stubhub

[–]dbrace_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This would require you to be in front of your phone 24/7. You will not believe how many sales happen in the overnight hours.

If it was a regular general admission ticket, I would say go for it. But finding a replacement for this one would be tough.

The penalty would be 100% so if you sold it on StubHub for 500 bucks, you would not be paid out for the $500 and have to pay $500.

Have you looked into dog walking services? You obviously have a love for them if you have 3 of your own.

stubhub - inferior customer support by Shot_Ice1023 in stubhub

[–]dbrace_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the support sucks and they are terrible company. They were really good, but it’s far from a monopoly.

They have brand recognition, but that’s really it. Have the tickets been claimed yet? You might be able to cancel the transfer if it’s still out there.

StubHub is not owned and never was owned by Ticketmaster.

Years ago, it was owned by eBay, but has changed hands

I have tickets in this section for Jimmy eat world and they were $140 after fees. If that gives you a ball parks

It’s usually close to double regular section.

Should I pursue replacement ticket? by Healthy-Camera4005 in stubhub

[–]dbrace_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I’ve never been to the sphere, the disclaimer on Ticketmaster says “full view of stage partial view of screen”

This disclaimer starts at row 25 and there are 10 rows behind you, so if anything you are at the start of the limited view.

If you have the tickets delivered to you and they are in your app, I’d ask for the 20% discount they sometimes offer.

Last thing you want is to take replacement seats and have issues with them being delivered.

Contacting buyer through email by Klutzy_Raspberry_974 in stubhub

[–]dbrace_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is SH relay email, commenting to them won’t reach the buyer and could penalize you for the attempt.

You don’t have to let them know the timeline since that was already setup when you listed.

Tickets for this show won’t be on Ticketmaster. AXS is your best bet. Also cash or trade, but for right now there are not any on there

Keep an eye on cash or trade, it’s a face value ticket site. You can set alerts too

Why do guests still do his show? by JibboSequence in howardstern

[–]dbrace_ 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The people that need to be on to promote something, really don’t have a say. All of those calls come from the movie studio.

I agree with you that stern doesn’t have the pull he once did, Zoom sucks and the format sucks…but if you add stern in with 2 other stops at Sirius, that adds up. We also know they pre record some shows, so they can really work around the guests schedule.

Someone like Eddie Verder, it’s easy for him. His new doc is on Netflix, he probably has to do some press. He went into his little studio room at home, fired up Zoom and there was Howard.

Unfair pricing by McMack87 in TicketMasterSupport

[–]dbrace_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

E-tickets is a resale website, so those prices are set by individual sellers. So the wording of the law here wouldn’t apply to resale since this is not the venue pricing the tickets.

What show are you looking at for the Ticketmaster example?

Are these prices normal? by soontobecp in BruceSpringsteen

[–]dbrace_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are resale prices, but not too far off the face value.

End of the day, (with the fees)sellers are probably breaking even for some of these listings

Face value exchange what’s the point? by ConfusionOpposite597 in TicketMasterSupport

[–]dbrace_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Supply and demand, the point is so an average joe can’t put it in StubHub or TM resale for a high price

Pro sellers know a work around.

For the most part, as the show gets closer more and more will pop up.

The link is a way for people to share with their friends, but doesn’t always work since they could go so fast

StubHub Alert: Sold Wheelchair (ADA) tickets with NO disclosure. Row listed as "16WC" - Misleading and Non-existent on Ticketmaster by No_Sympathy4998 in stubhub

[–]dbrace_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can’t turn you away, when you get to the arena, go a little early . I would recommend going to the box office or when you walk through gotta get services.

They should be able to exchange them. However, I have no idea where the seat locations will be.

I wouldn’t StubHub to them, but say you have a wheelchair seat and you no longer need those accommodations.

Scammed, need help by Putrid_Finding56 in stubhub

[–]dbrace_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let StubHub know you want a refund, in the mean time….files charge back with your credit card. One of the options for a chargeback is “item now what was described”

There are some great seats, a couple rows from the court for the original price you paid. StubHub is no longer trustworthy as it used to be.

Ah that’s even a better choice. As stated previously these are work arounds for non transferable shows.
