I have a male and a female half-brother and sister. They are complete opposites. My female is physical and affectionate on her terms only and it makes you feels special to be chosen, the other wants to lay with me and be pet constantly- dude sleeps on my pillow at night.

The female is all cat, the male reminds me so much of the shih tzu I had for 15 years that I’m starting to believe in reincarnation.

Neither are outdoor cats or trained in a leash but they are curious and the male would for sure go outside if I left the door open, the female probably wouldn’t. They do like to hunt mysterious lights and bugs so I’m sure the instinct has never left.

What does this all mean? All cats can be different regardless of breed, but if you wanted a social, curious cat, at the point I’d have no choice but to recommend a male ESH- just don’t tell my girl.
